1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website, requesting a quote, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. Our Services
Clarity Window Tinting provides professional window film installation services for automotive, residential, and commercial clients in Launceston and Northern Tasmania. Services include:
- Automotive window tinting
- Residential window film installation
- Commercial window film installation
- Headlight and taillight tinting
3. Quotes & Pricing
Estimates provided via our online quote tool are indicative only. Final pricing is confirmed after a physical inspection of the vehicle or property. All prices include GST. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the scope of work differs materially from what was described at the time of quoting.
4. Bookings & Cancellations
Appointments are confirmed via phone, SMS, or email. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give us at least 24 hours notice. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a rebooking fee at our discretion.
5. Warranty
All installations are backed by a lifetime warranty on film and labour, subject to the following conditions:
- The warranty covers bubbling, peeling, delamination, and colour change under normal use
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning, physical damage, or third-party interference
- Windows must not be wound down for 3–5 days post-installation to allow proper curing
- Only ammonia-free cleaning products may be used on tinted glass
Warranty claims must be reported to us directly. We reserve the right to inspect the film before authorising a warranty repair or replacement.
6. Legal Compliance
All automotive installations are completed to comply with Tasmanian road regulations at the time of service. It is the vehicle owner's responsibility to ensure ongoing compliance if regulations change. We are not liable for any fines or defects issued after installation.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the cost of the original service provided. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages of any kind.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees relating to acceptable quality and fitness for purpose.
8. Website Use
Our website is provided for general information and quote estimation purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate but do not warrant that all content is error-free or current. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the website at any time without notice.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tasmania.
