Commercial tinting covers more ground than most people expect: offices with staff squinting at glare-hit monitors all day, retail storefronts wanting privacy without losing street appeal, and reception glass that needs to look sharp as much as perform well. We've handled work for organisations including Anglicare Tasmania, so we're used to the paperwork and site-access side of commercial jobs too, not just the film.
What we cover
- Glare and heat control — cuts eye strain on staff near windows and reduces cooling costs on the building's sunniest side.
- Privacy film — frosted or decorative options for meeting rooms and glass-walled offices.
- Anti-graffiti film — a sacrificial layer on ground-floor storefront glass that gets replaced instead of the glass itself if it's tagged or scratched.
- Entry-door and reception glass — anti-glare film specifically for automatic sliding doors and street-facing reception areas.
How commercial jobs are quoted
Unlike a car, no two commercial sites are alike — glass count, size, height, and access all change the job. We'll ask a few questions up front and, for anything beyond a small job, arrange a proper site visit and measurement before locking in a price.
Frequently asked questions
Do you quote commercial jobs remotely or on site?
Larger or more complex commercial jobs — glass entry doors, multi-storey offices, curved glass — get a proper on-site assessment before a final price. Smaller jobs can often be quoted from a description and photos.
Can you do anti-glare film for reception or entry doors?
Yes — we've fitted anti-glare film for entry doors and reception glass for commercial clients (including aged care and community organisations) where low-angle sun glare was the specific problem.
What about after-hours or weekend installation?
For businesses that can't have installers on site during trading hours, we can generally arrange before/after hours or weekend work — ask when you enquire.
